I'm way behind the times. But Fur Patrol are playing for free in Palmerston North on New Years Eve. Free in the square I do believe. So go if you're in the area. Or if you're not... ROAD TRIP!

Oh my gosh! Fur Patrol! Live! In Wellington! Finally!
It's been confirmed that the one and only 3-piece that we all know and love will be playing a very special gig at the Matterhorn in Wellington on 29 December! Yay!

Fur Patrol feature on "Throw Up Ya Goats: The Switchblade Soundtrack", showing off one of their fancy new songs. The song is Best Thing and the album is a tribute to Martin F. Emond. Go buy it.

Hey kids! Long time no see. Well, I have no excuses aside from the fact that... you know... Fur Patrol have been doing only super-secret-squirrel things of late. And frankly, so have I. I'm proud to finally unveil an exclusive interview with the rarely heard from Andrew Bain conducted by myself and someone not worth mentioning in a cafe a month or two ago in Wellington.
Thanks to Andrew for taking the time out of the bands busy creative schedule to meet with us and brave the scary dictaphone. I hope it was worth it.

Julia is going to be supporting The Shins at Vic Uni on 21 February. You may remember The Shins from that scene in Garden State after Zac Braff gets humped by the Alsation.
For those of you who are going to the Summer Hummer gigs, take care and wear a jacket.

Happy New Year Fur Fans. I've been very slack with the updating of this site lately, I know this... much is... true. However, hopefully soon we'll have something nice and exclusive for the site. Plus, there are gigs in New Zealand that you should go to if you're near the areas. It is a very short visit, so if you're not from one of these three places don't cry. They will be back soon for proper furry gigs.
Julia was recently in NZ to support John Butler Trio, which by all accounts started very early causing people to only catch the tail ends of her sets, which is a damn shame. As always, if you did catch a show feel free to write to me about it and I'll put it up with the other fan reviews. Anyway, stay tuned...
